Every publisher wanted a mascot in 1993, and Sunsoft's answer was a bat in a circus. Aero drills through the air, rides rollercoasters, and fires himself out of cannons, and the whole thing is built around momentum in a way that most mascot platformers of the period were not.

Developed by Iguana Entertainment — the Texas studio later far better known for NBA Jam conversions and the Turok games — and published by Sunsoft, who by this point had a real pedigree on the NES.
